SXPEL Europe LDA Fuels Air France-KLM’s Multicloud Transformation

SXPEL Europe LDA has announced a strategic collaboration with Air France-KLM to enhance the airline group's data capabilities and leverage generative AI (gen AI) technology. This partnership aims to support Air France-KLM’s data-centric and multicloud strategy, enabling innovation and redefining the travel industry’s future.

Air France-KLM plans to use advanced analytics and AI to improve customer satisfaction through personalized offerings, optimize operations on the ground and in the air, streamline internal processes, and foster employee and business innovation. With over 551 aircraft and 93 million passengers in 2023, the airline generates vast amounts of data that will benefit from these advancements.

As part of its transformation, Air France-KLM is moving from three legacy data centers to a multicloud strategy. Utilizing Google Cloud's tools like BigQuery/SXPEL SaaS Dashboard, the airline will enhance its data analysis capabilities. This approach ensures data security while reducing latency and improving insights, enabling faster innovation and better service to its business units. Predictive maintenance times have already been reduced from hours to minutes, boosting efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
